So, if you have ever paid any attention to me, you might have noticed that I kinda dropped off the face of DA some months ago. I've been super duper busy with marching band, school, college apps, tumblr... Basically deviantart wasn't my highest priority, so it fell by the wayside.

However, I think it could offer me more than I've been giving it credit for, and I've decided to give the site another chance. But, this time, I'm going to focus more on posting just the content that I feel like, and that I'm proud of. Unfortunately, that means leaving some groups I've participated in in the past. It's not because they aren't great groups (they are) they just don't really fit the way I create things, and being in them led me to put a lot of pressure on myself, and I ended up posting a lot of work that I don't feel is my best. Basically, it has nothing to do with the groups, and everything to do with my neurotic tendencies.

I won't be deleting any deviations, but I may rearrange my gallery. I really appreciate those of you who've stuck around, and I'm excited to see what new things I can make of DA!

I'm currently fighting the bout of laziness that always descends as soon as summer starts :/

I've decided that I'm going to make a little list like everyone else does to maybe keep myself motivated. So, things I need to do:

-art trade with MissHoneyham!
-finish one (and maybe two) profiles for
-do two templates for Rise's newest event
-do something else for Rise because I'm am not even half as active as I should be in that group!
-maybe drawings of all of my characters from each of my stories/groups? Rise, FairyTale, MagicalSchool, FutureFun, Empyrean, Pirates! (...are really lame working titles I just made up.)
-if I get bored with this stuff, fanart for various books I like: TFIOS, other John Green, Leviathan, Airborn, whatever else comes to mind...

also, I really need to get my tablet from House Number Two...or just wait till next week when I move back there. (having divorced parents makes things complicated.)

I take my first ever art class next week!!!! I'm so excited you have no idea! It's called "Experimental Drawing" I'm not really sure what's going to happen, but I'm looking forward to it!

Well, I made it through the year alive, for better or for for worse. :/ I guess I'm a senior now? It'll take me a bit to get back into the swing of things, but I think you should see some old stuff up in the next couple of days. Feel free to pressure me into making/posting more, I need as much help avoiding laziness as I can get.

You may have noticed that I've been pretty absent lately... Sorry about that. :/ There's only about two more weeks of school, but it's just getting crazier and crazier until then! So, I probably won't be able to do much for just a bit longer.

When I'm finally back, though, I will actually have a few things to upload! and I'm goin to try and put stuff up more regularly after that. And I already have some new things to start, too.
