I haven't been as much into art all my life as my other hobbies, but both of my parents love art and it has grown on me as I aged. At some point I realized how happy it made me to create my own art.
All kinds! I don't understand how people can say they love music but only a certain genre. There is so much to enjoy about every type of music! Also, I play clarinet in an awesome Texas band!

I am a bookworm to the core, and I have been all my life. I go through stages of different preferences, but I have always loved books. Someday I hope to publish my own book.
I have been dancing since I was three (ballet since I was five) and though I'm not very great and do not hope to make a career out of it, I can't imagine my life without dance.
There was a time in my life when I did not laugh nearly as much as I should have, and I try to make up for it now.
including my little brother, because I wouldn't know how to laugh if it wasn't for them.
So, if you have ever paid any attention to me, you might have noticed that I kinda dropped off the face of DA some months ago. I've been super duper busy with marching band, school, college apps, tumblr... Basically deviantart wasn't my highest priority, so it fell by the wayside.
However, I think it could offer me more than I've been giving it credit for, and I've decided to give the site another chance. But, this time, I'm going to focus more on posting just the content that I feel like, and that I'm proud of. Unfortunately, that means leaving some groups I've participated in in the past. It's not because they aren't great groups (they are) they just don't really fit the way I create things, and being in them led me to put a lot of pressure on myself, and I ended up posting a lot of work that I don't feel is my best. Basically, it has nothing to do with the groups, and everything to do with my neurotic tendencies.
I won't be deleting any deviations, but I may rearrange my gallery. I really appreciate those of you who've stuck around, and I'm excited to see what new things I can make of DA!
